Japan Bonus reviews are documentation-based: they are built by reading the operator's published documents and the regulator's records. We do not claim first-hand play testing unless it actually took place — we will not describe verification we have not performed.
In return, every review states what was checked and where. Reliability, as we see it, means a reader can follow the same sources and verify the same facts.
Licences are checked against the regulator's public register — MGA, Curaçao GCB, Gibraltar and others — not against the operator's own claim. A licence statement we cannot find in the register is not repeated in the review.
We read the full terms and conditions and the bonus rules: wagering requirements, win caps, max bet limits, game weighting, and expiry — the items that actually decide what an offer is worth.
Where marketing contradicts the terms, the review calls it out explicitly ("Claim vs T&Cs") and shows both — the binding document is the terms.
The only payout times we publish are values the operator itself has published. Where nothing is published, we say "not published" or "varies" — we never invent a plausible number to fill the gap.
Game counts and similar catalog data come from operator or provider published information. Where a partner supplies official figures, those may be used as a floor for automatically collected values.
Material facts are published only when confirmed by two independent sources.
